James Wightman

I have more than 25 years of experience in electronics. I started my career straight out of High School when I joined the US NAVY and was trained as an Avionics Technician. After serving four years, during the Desert Storm conflict, I decided to build on my NAVY training and enrolled in the Engineering program at Polytechnic University. I graduated in 1998 and then spent 14 years working at BAE Systems as an Electrical Design Engineer and Engineering Manager, developing high reliability communication systems for the US Military. I have been with IPS nearly 4 years now, and I am responsible for leading the Electrical Engineering department in all phases of Electrical systems and product development.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, I am a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and I prefer to be called Jace.
