Mitch Maiman

Mitch is the President and Co-Founder of IPS, building the company on a vision of delivering a comprehensive range of product design services to provide clients with effective solutions.

Mitch honed his deep knowledge of product design on the strength of a 30-year career with companies that manufacture commercially successful products for the consumer, industrial, and DoD markets. This included employment with Norden Systems (now Northrop Grumman) and Applied Digital Data Systems (now NCR). Prior to launching IPS, Mitch was VP of Engineering at Symbol Technologies (now Motorola). Always espousing a hands-on approach to design, he holds a portfolio of numerous United States and international patents.

Mitch holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia University, and an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

Paul Severino

Paul is Co-Founder of IPS and is responsible for customer relationships and overseeing all company operations.

Paul has 26 years of experience in the fields of manufacturing and engineering, managing a wide range of projects, including early generation and advanced bar code scanners. His earlier career includes mechanical engineering positions at Ebasco and Fairchild Systems. Just prior to joining IPS, he served as Senior Director of Engineering and Senior Director of Manufacturing Engineering in Symbol Technologies, in Holtsville, NY.

Paul has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from SUNY Stony Brook, a Master's in Computer Science and Business Administration from New York Institute of Technology, and an MBA from Long Island University, C. W. Post. He is a licensed Professional Engineer with APICS certification.

June Severino Feldman

With over 20 years of experience, June supports promotion of the IPS brand, including strategic planning, messaging and creative services management, with additional responsibility for software product marketing. Her team provides services in brand development, research, campaign and go-to-market strategy, collateral and content development, print/video production, website design, and training programs.

June's early career was centered in fashion marketing working on behalf of companies such as Polo Ralph Lauren and Giorgio Armani. She was more recently instrumental in introducing and implementing next-generation technology into clients' digital image development and digital asset management (DAM) systems. June spearheaded the sale and deployment of these remote collaboration software tools, which significantly reduced internal operations costs.

June earned her Bachelor's Degree from SUNY Fredonia and has continued her education in writing and foreign languages at NYU.

Hilary Farnsworth

Hilary is a Senior Level Mechanical Engineer with expertise in electronic packaging, automation equipment design, instrumentation design, part design, part manufacture and computer aided design packages.

Hilary has worked in the medical, industrial, consumer product and telecom industries for companies such as Motorola, Bayer Diagnostics, Tellabs, as well as a number of engineering service organizations. She brings over 20 years of experience working with design teams who have developed test and laboratory equipment, patient monitoring systems, handheld devices, electro mechanical packaging and network equipment. She takes an active role in all aspects of the engineering and design process, and has lead teams through all development phases into production.

Hilary has a Mechanical Engineering Master's degree from Manhattan College, and holds several patents and awards to her credit.

Bob Wild

Bob brings nearly 20 years of electrical engineering experience that applies to all aspects of product design. At IPS, he is instrumental to incorporating all disciplines of engineering - from concept to full production, as well as all phases of lifecycle development.

Bob began his career at Symbol Technologies (Motorola) in Operations, where his responsibilities evolved from developing test fixtures to flexible automation systems. He was also employed by Advanced Development, and Layer One, where he developed 3G cellular solutions. Approximately 10 years ago, he headed up a software department of more than 60 engineers at BAE Systems, taking the lead on the development of Mission Computing and Antenna Systems.

Bob received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering focusing on Control Systems from SUNY Stony Brook, a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Polytechnic Institute of NYU, and also has an MBA from SUNY Stony Brook.

Heading up the IPS industrial design team, Joe has played a pivotal role in the development of our user-centric design process. With more than 17 years of experience developing award-winning innovative solutions for consumer and professional clients, Joe is deeply versed in all aspects of product development - from initial concept generation through prototyping, to final production manufacturing.

Previous to joining IPS in 2011, he held the role of Design Manager at Helander Products directing the design of miniature motion control solutions for BE Aerospace, Varian Inc. and Precise Flight.

Proficient in various languages, technologies and methodologies, Danny is instrumental in diversifying his software portfolio everywhere he has worked. He has also played a key role in implementing standards of excellence that improve productivity and quality.

Bob is a recent addition to IPS and oversees all related projects.

He has nearly 30 years of design experience in defense, aerospace and industrial markets, and holds 8 United States and foreign patents. Prior to joining IPS, he served as Director of Mechanical Engineering for EMC with Symbol/Motorola, where he led a team of mechanical and acoustic engineers at 4 locations across 3 continents. Previously, he also worked at Parker Hannifin, at Ferranti Venus and General Instrument where he developed Radar Warning Receiver sets, test equipment and aircraft modification kits.

Gianfranco Bonanome

Gian has over 15 years of experience in the areas of electrical engineering, embedded software, systems engineering, product development, project management, and business development. At IPS, he is responsible for new client on-boarding and project execution. He can be often found hosting brainstorm sessions, applying his experience to problems, and providing cost-effective, innovative solutions to clients. Gian began his career at IBM’s Global Services division, overseeing enterprise-level solutions for tier 1 clients. He later entered the defense sector by joining BAE Systems, where he focused on fighter jet avionics and anti-fratricide measures. During his tenure at BAE, Gian led multidisciplinary teams, going from project inception, all the way to full volume production, while simultaneously working intimately with his customers. His designs fly in every Air National Guard F-16 and NAVY F/A-18. Gian holds a Bachelor in Computer Engineering from NYU Polytechnic and a Masters degree in Computer Science from Columbia University. He is also a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of New York.

Ralph has 20 years experience as both an engineering project leader as well as an individual contributor. He has received numerous awards for his work in developing defense electronics and program management from BAE systems where he served in a leadership role on rapid development projects. In the commercial world, Ralph was a senior level engineer developing hardware and embedded software in currency validators for the gaming industry and in development of mammography products.

Ralph has a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering respectively, in addition to an MBA from Stony Brook University. Ralph is a PMI Certified Project Management Professional.

After serving four years, during the Desert Storm conflict, I decided to build on my NAVY training and enrolled in the Engineering program at Polytechnic University. I graduated in 1998 and then spent 14 years working at BAE Systems as an Electrical Design Engineer and Engineering Manager, developing high reliability communication systems for the US Military. I have been with IPS nearly 4 years now, and I am responsible for leading the Electrical Engineering department in all phases of Electrical systems and product development.

Ralph has 20 years experience as both an engineering project leader as well as an individual contributor. He has received numerous awards for his work in developing defense electronics and program management from BAE systems where he served in a leadership role on rapid development projects. In the commercial world, Ralph was a senior level engineer developing hardware and embedded software in currency validators for the gaming industry and in development of mammography products.

Ralph has a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering respectively, in addition to an MBA from Stony Brook University. Ralph is a PMI Certified Project Management Professional.

Gianfranco Bonanome

Gian has over 15 years of experience in the areas of electrical engineering, embedded software, systems engineering, product development, project management, and business development. At IPS, he is responsible for new client on-boarding and project execution. He can be often found hosting brainstorm sessions, applying his experience to problems, and providing cost-effective, innovative solutions to clients. Gian began his career at IBM’s Global Services division, overseeing enterprise-level solutions for tier 1 clients. He later entered the defense sector by joining BAE Systems, where he focused on fighter jet avionics and anti-fratricide measures. During his tenure at BAE, Gian led multidisciplinary teams, going from project inception, all the way to full volume production, while simultaneously working intimately with his customers. His designs fly in every Air National Guard F-16 and NAVY F/A-18. Gian holds a Bachelor in Computer Engineering from NYU Polytechnic and a Masters degree in Computer Science from Columbia University. He is also a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of New York.

Mitch Maiman

Mitch is the President and Co-Founder of IPS, building the company on a vision of delivering a comprehensive range of product design services to provide clients with effective solutions.

Mitch honed his deep knowledge of product design on the strength of a 30-year career with companies that manufacture commercially successful products for the consumer, industrial, and DoD markets. This included employment with Norden Systems (now Northrop Grumman) and Applied Digital Data Systems (now NCR). Prior to launching IPS, Mitch was VP of Engineering at Symbol Technologies (now Motorola). Always espousing a hands-on approach to design, he holds a portfolio of numerous United States and international patents.

Mitch holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia University, and an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

Paul Severino

Paul is Co-Founder of IPS and is responsible for customer relationships and overseeing all company operations.

Paul has 26 years of experience in the fields of manufacturing and engineering, managing a wide range of projects, including early generation and advanced bar code scanners. His earlier career includes mechanical engineering positions at Ebasco and Fairchild Systems. Just prior to joining IPS, he served as Senior Director of Engineering and Senior Director of Manufacturing Engineering in Symbol Technologies, in Holtsville, NY.

Paul has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from SUNY Stony Brook, a Master's in Computer Science and Business Administration from New York Institute of Technology, and an MBA from Long Island University, C. W. Post. He is a licensed Professional Engineer with APICS certification.

June Severino Feldman

With over 20 years of experience, June supports promotion of the IPS brand, including strategic planning, messaging and creative services management, with additional responsibility for software product marketing. Her team provides services in brand development, research, campaign and go-to-market strategy, collateral and content development, print/video production, website design, and training programs.

June's early career was centered in fashion marketing working on behalf of companies such as Polo Ralph Lauren and Giorgio Armani. She was more recently instrumental in introducing and implementing next-generation technology into clients' digital image development and digital asset management (DAM) systems. June spearheaded the sale and deployment of these remote collaboration software tools, which significantly reduced internal operations costs.

June earned her Bachelor's Degree from SUNY Fredonia and has continued her education in writing and foreign languages at NYU.

Hilary Farnsworth

Hilary is a Senior Level Mechanical Engineer with expertise in electronic packaging, automation equipment design, instrumentation design, part design, part manufacture and computer aided design packages.

Hilary has worked in the medical, industrial, consumer product and telecom industries for companies such as Motorola, Bayer Diagnostics, Tellabs, as well as a number of engineering service organizations. She brings over 20 years of experience working with design teams who have developed test and laboratory equipment, patient monitoring systems, handheld devices, electro mechanical packaging and network equipment. She takes an active role in all aspects of the engineering and design process, and has lead teams through all development phases into production.

Hilary has a Mechanical Engineering Master's degree from Manhattan College, and holds several patents and awards to her credit.

Bob Wild

Bob brings nearly 20 years of electrical engineering experience that applies to all aspects of product design. At IPS, he is instrumental to incorporating all disciplines of engineering - from concept to full production, as well as all phases of lifecycle development.

Bob began his career at Symbol Technologies (Motorola) in Operations, where his responsibilities evolved from developing test fixtures to flexible automation systems. He was also employed by Advanced Development, and Layer One, where he developed 3G cellular solutions. Approximately 10 years ago, he headed up a software department of more than 60 engineers at BAE Systems, taking the lead on the development of Mission Computing and Antenna Systems.

Bob received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering focusing on Control Systems from SUNY Stony Brook, a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Polytechnic Institute of NYU, and also has an MBA from SUNY Stony Brook.

Heading up the IPS industrial design team, Joe has played a pivotal role in the development of our user-centric design process. With more than 17 years of experience developing award-winning innovative solutions for consumer and professional clients, Joe is deeply versed in all aspects of product development - from initial concept generation through prototyping, to final production manufacturing.

Previous to joining IPS in 2011, he held the role of Design Manager at Helander Products directing the design of miniature motion control solutions for BE Aerospace, Varian Inc. and Precise Flight.

Danny Aponte

Danny brings over 10 years of experience in delivering quality-driven software solutions. As a leader in the IPS Software Engineering team, Danny is responsible for building and growing the Enterprise Application Development group, while using his SW Architectural expertise to design innovative, failsafe application systems.

With prior engineering experience in the healthcare, manufacturing, transportation & logistics, and banking industries, Danny has designed and implemented enterprise software solutions that solve a wide range of challenges. Proficient in various languages, technologies and methodologies, Danny is instrumental in diversifying his software portfolio everywhere he has worked. He has also played a key role in implementing standards of excellence that improve productivity and quality.

Bob is a recent addition to IPS and oversees all related projects.

He has nearly 30 years of design experience in defense, aerospace and industrial markets, and holds 8 United States and foreign patents. Prior to joining IPS, he served as Director of Mechanical Engineering for EMC with Symbol/Motorola, where he led a team of mechanical and acoustic engineers at 4 locations across 3 continents. Previously, he also worked at Parker Hannifin, at Ferranti Venus and General Instrument where he developed Radar Warning Receiver sets, test equipment and aircraft modification kits.

Bob has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from SUNY at Buffalo, a Master's from Polytechnic University, and is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of New York.
