James Wightman

James has more than 25 years of experience in electronics. He started his career straight out of High School when he joined the US NAVY and was trained as an Avionics Technician. After serving four years, during the Desert Storm conflict, he decided to build on his NAVY training and enrolled in the Engineering program at Polytechnic University. James graduated in 1998 and then spent 14 years working at BAE Systems as an Electrical Design Engineer and Engineering Manager, developing high reliability communication systems for the US Military. James has been with IPS over 6 years now, and is responsible for leading the Electrical Engineering department in all phases of Electrical systems and product development.

James holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, he is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and he prefers to be called Jace.
