L-3 IntelliCore Checkpoint Solution Software

IPS' SW Application and UX/UI groups teamed with L3 to develop checkpoint security software to enhance checkpoint security, create improved passenger experience and have a positive impact on checkpoint operation efficiencies. The UI/UX features ease of use and the application offers access to security operations and performance metrics via any tablet or laptop - in real time, from any location. The IPS SW team worked to help enable application architecture extendable to incorporate current and future security scanners and sensors while continuing to meet the demands of time-stressed travelers and requirements of regulators.

Remote Centralized Screening

Security screeners at a centralized location receive images of bags suspected of containing a potential threat. Operators have the ability to quickly toggle between 2D and 3D images presented on the screen and are also able to rotate 3D images to achieve the most precise and thorough security assessments possible.

Connected Checkpoint

Images of baggage scanned at airport security checkpoints showing potential threats are transmitted to L-3’s remote centralized screening where security agents can quickly alternate between 2D and 3D imagery and identify actual threats within the critical target time frame.

Andretti Autosport

IPS created a solution to integrate Motorola DPM scanners (Direct Parts Marking) with the Andretti Legacy Database system. With no source code available for the original applications and the inability to connect with the developer who had created the original database solution, it was necessary to begin the enterprise application development from the ground up. The solution was developed at a rapid pace, deployed instantly and placed in use for the current race season.

Embedded in Canary’s QA team, IPS has developed a testing and validation protocol for its consumer smart home security monitoring system. Daily tasks include automation testing of the web, iOS and Android versions of the app, and managing generation and documentation. IPS plans sprints and retro meetings to sign-off on app releases before production and implementation. Our team develops and provides for guidance and migration of test cases for the iOS and Android apps, enabling a robust, trusted home security monitoring experience for the Canary consumer.
