Digital Fly Social Media Monitoring App
Digital Fly was created to meet a growing need in schools to monitor social media in order to prevent incidents from occurring amidst their student population.
Solution
Digital Fly was created to scan social media posts for keywords indicating the planning or impending occurrence of a harmful incident. The tool enables school or law enforcement authorities to identify potentially dangerous or illegal activities ( e.g. fights, bullying or intended suicides) prior to the incidents and to have the ability to intervene to prevent them from happening. IPS worked with Digital Fly to scope out design intent and requirements for a web-based and mobile application. Concepts for general layout were created and tested in-house and during in-person visits with school representatives.
